WTF? Does anybody update this anymore? "Details Soon"...that was an f'n month ago. Come on. Your followers deserve more than that...seriously what is on tap right now and what will be coming up and what is the Kotbusser or whatever. Might want to try and leave some literature at the bar for people to read about the beers as well. The wait staff leaves a little to be desired at times. Not all, but certainly some...make a shitload of copies of all your beer descriptions and they can hand them out to whoever asks questions like "What is a Kossbuser?"....so what is it?
I must say that my focus has gone more to facebook these days. We have a McCann's craft brew page there. There really hasn't been much response on this site. The Kotbusser is still in the tank lagering and is not ready to go yet. When it is it will be updated here. You can see what is on tap now on the left side of the page-it's always been there. The Kotbusser is a old German style brewed with Pilsner malt, wheat, honet and oats. Hopped with Spalt hops.Good idea on the literature. Although I'm more receptive to suggestions from cool headed people.
Well dude excuse me for expecting details on Kotbusser soon when you say "Details soon" a month ago. Excuse me for being passionate about your beer and wanting to learn more. Excuse me for not having a link to the facebook page that I have no access to. Maybe I will start going back to the other place in town even though their beers bore the hell out me usually. Better yet, maybe I'll just save my money and hit the cities more often.
I am happy about your passion for the beer. I depend on folks like you to spread the word around. I just think that swearing at the brewer(or anyone) is the wrong way to go. I would never do that to another brewer or beer lover. I'm not going to get in a pissing match over this. I'm sorry soon wasn't soon enough, but ya got to understand that there are production considerations that are not always expected. I thought we would be out of the Rye PA by now, but the simple fact is that we aren't. I can't put a new beer on until the other one is gone.I hope you keep coming for the beer. The passionate beer crowd around here is pretty small and we need all of you. Please understand beer release is a hard thing to predict sometimes. I'll try to keep things updated here more often, but there just wasn't much to update lately.Cheers.
You are misreading this...First off I never swore at you....I referenced the delay on information not when you are actually releasing the beers...grow a thicker skin..Secondly...I totally understand the delays on releasing beers. I do not understand the delays on informing what is next with descriptions of it. That is what I was waiting to read about. It gets tapped when it gets tapped but “golly gee shoot gee whiz” if you say more info to come shortly on a beer I am very excited to hear about it...when I wait a month and no details about the next beer appear I figure you don't give a....”hoot..hollar.(.whatever other non swear word you want to use)”...about us..BTW---why not list the upcoming beers...I often ask the bartenders what is replacing so and so and they are clueless....obviously once you brew it and it is sitting in tanks it will eventually come out. For instance. What comes next after the porter. Don't get pissed at me. If you want to be a legit brewpub inform your fans in a timely manner like all the good ones
Never was pissed at you.Let's just start over.I have a Scottish Export coming after the porter. Very true to style. English pale ale malt, a little dark crystal and some roasted barley. 1.050 gravity, low hop bitterness. The staff does get updates, unfortunately, they never seem to want to remember them. They are posted by the time clock.
The Scottish Export sounds great as does the Kotbusser. Any idea when they might be on tap (I know there's no way to know and it's just a guess).I've yet to try the Spalt hop. I missed out the last time you used it. It was gone quick.
Maybe three weeks on the Scottish-don't hold me to this!:)Kottbusser may be sooner-waiting on filters to arrive.
